jlincoln,

I don't know what you have but if you can take off the top, you will find a copper disk inside. When voltage is applied that disk comes up and makes contact. After much use this disk gets worn (copper). All you have to do is turn the disk over and reassemble. You'll be set for quite awhile barring a short ect.

Sometimes to remove the top there is some soldering involved. This works on every solinoid I have seen in the past. Keep the faith
