Yeah, I am mostly aware of the what I need, I already found a later model parts machine. cost isn't a concern to me, I knew that the 782 was lacking power steering when I bought it, I also knew I would add it later.
I picked up my 782 for $600, which I feel was a fair price.
The reason to buying these is simply the fact you can buy and rebuild them cheaper then a box store mower and still have something that will last another 30-40 years.

Those JD sabers at home depot? They will be made into a mailbox, shower curtain rod, Toyota, etc etc, within years.
