Congrats on the Cub.
We've got a 1956 with 60" mower, hydraulic lift. The wife uses it to cut our food plots.
Check, and likely clean out the oil bath air cleaner, most have been neglected over the years.
There hasn't been much of anything I've had to do to it, other than checking the oil, and filling it with gas. Ours is getting tired, but does what we expect it to do...
