Wow....
I don't know that I would have let it leave.... and that's coming from me, the "jerk".
I would just hate the thought of all my hard work ending up in a big heaping pile before the customer got it. Now, if it was the owner.... it would have been different:
"See ya, buddy! Hope you make it home with it!"
