The pulley that is on Sminkey's engine is way bigger than any of the PTO pulleys that were on any of my Originals. True, the one he is holding is too small, but it is closer in size to the ones I had, than the pulley that is on the engine now.
Taking the top of the deck apart and doing as I said in my previous post will do wonders for the 'still turning slowly' issue. It worked on the 3 decks I made functional.

Only disagreeing because with the larger pulley on there is to much tension on the belt(which is correct size) and the idle pulleys are adjusted as far as they'll go. With smaller pulley the idle pulleys are set in the middle with what feels like proper belt tension. And seems Wild Bill has some serious experience, kinda hard not to listen to em'
