That happend to me with a $500 work van one time, I told the fellow I only had $400, But he had to $500 so I passed. A week later he called the shop and tells me he would take $400. So now I'm a little PO'ed and said I spent $100 can you take $300.
I drove that old dodge for four years and never put a dime in it then sold it for $500.
So don't lose hope yet!
