Very true, and this goes both ways, too. I can't begin to think about how many (probably about 80%) of the people I dealt with while trying to sell stuff on craigslist acted. They call and say they're very serious, waste my time setting up a time for them to come look at it, and then they vanish from the face of the earth. I don't believe in holding stuff for people...all it does is waste my time and then I wind up with an unsold item after I turn away the handful of people that contact me later while I'm waiting for the first guy to disappear. First guy to hand me the money gets it. If someone calls me on a Tuesday and wants to see it on Saturday, I tell him to call back Friday night to make sure I still have it...
