Default still working on it

Morning All. Got the bushings for the tank over the weekend and am still a bit nervous about the tank not leaking after it goes back together. The bushings have no resistance when put in the whole. Even with the shutoffs installed in the bushings they will go in and out of the tank outlets without much trouble.
The wholes in the tank have a diameter of .56. The diameter of the bushing with the shutoffs installed in it is .57. Is that enough difference to hold that in place. Thinking about using a gas resistant adhesive and making sure it stays in place. Figure there is a consequence of that I am not thinking of though.
Either that or I just get to antsy about things and should just put together and stop thinking about it, any thoughts? The valve stem fix someone previously used is actually close to .70. Wondering if they widened the tank hole to get that to go into the tank.
