My 1872 (and my buddies 1872) does not have a bolt on bracket for the top link. The top link is pined between two weld on tabs - it's factory. There is only one 1/2" hole per tab. Enlarging the hole to 5/8" will not allow for the 5/8" ball socket end. Moving the hole rearward will put it very near the edge of the tab. Yes the tabs can be cut off and larger ones welded on but Cub built it this way and they had top links that worked with it this way - I just want a top link like the one furnished with this 3 point w/PTO. Maybe somebody has a used link they will sell to me.


Jonathan, I'm not interested in a cobble job. I'm looking for the right parts.
