Isn't that the age old question... Personally I think narrower tires do better on snow (more pounds per square inch on the ground) but what do I know, I've heard other people say more rubber on the road is better.
I have a 123 with 6 - 12 agg's on the back and it almost never spins a tire pushing snow, everything else has chains, I'm a little concerned how my 149 with wider agg's is going to do this winter.
