Gents, just bought a 1650 QL , bought a new muffler exhaust elbow p/n KH -45-054-04 . in original Kohler box. Threads in head are in perfect shape but the new elbow only gets 3/4 turn in, can go a little more but not pushing it.
Threads on new elbow appear straight and not a pipe thread. I have a piece of brass pipe thread that goes all the way in no problems. whats up here ? what should threads be. Do I have a miss boxed item ?
