As some of you know, I am in the HVAC/R business. I work on equipment from new to 40 yrs old. I have found in the last 10+ years, that the mindset with manufactures is that once equipment gets to that 10th year, it is their belief that the end user should buy a new piece of equipment. Seems MTD is following this trend. There are times, I spend a lot of time researching parts, for situations just like this. It is very frustrating to match up the misguided mindset of the OEM and the expectations of the end user.
