Yes, that is it! I spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to cross over the Kohler number, the number on the seal, and even looking by sizes--that really puzzled me. The one you listed, however, is not a "rubber covered" seal. Don't know if it makes a difference or not--maybe there is a difference in the sealing material? . There must be something to this as to why you can't find an interchangeable seal #. I can guarantee one thing, the seal I installed too deep was in an aftermarket set--no name and a different # on it than the original. Anyway, I have one coming from a Cadet Collector that needed to thin his parts supply.
I'm afraid to look (so I won't) but the seal you listed is probably on the shelf at 1/2 the parts stores in town.
