Getting ready to pull this project out of the shed where it's been all winter, move it inside the garage and finish it up.
Got a Spring Sale flyer from Northern Tool in the mail about a month ago. One of the sale items was a John Deere tractor seat. Above the seat it read: "ALL TRACTOR SEATS 20% OFF". I need two seats, so thought this would be a good time to buy replacements.
Went online to find the internet "Sale" price wasn't 20%, but more like 5% off (reg $79.99 on sale for $75.99). I hit the chat button and texted back and forth about the sale. Bottom line: the 20% Spring Sale was just for in-stock merchandise. Oh, ok.
Took another look at the sale flyer. Hmmm. Doesn't say anything anywhere about in-stock merchandise...
Drove to Northern Tool retail store near my work. Asked to speak to the manager. Showed him the Spring Sale flyer and the 20% off all tractor seats ad. I encouraged him to please find on the flyer where these sale prices only applied to in-stock merchandise. He couldn't. I said, "I'll take two."
Oh, the Spring Sale flyer also had a coupon to get $20 off anything over $100. Had 'em shipped to their store for free. Picked them up yesterday. Paid just over $50 apiece including tax to have them sitting in my garage.
