Got the dash repaired. I had taken pics along the way, but they were accidently deleted.

Basic procedure: Had another 782 with upper right corner of dash intact. Pulled good dash and used non-shrinking modeling clay purchased at Hobby Lobby to form a mold. Let dry then placed molded clay in damaged corner of other 782 dash. Used a fiberglass repair kit from Walmart to build up layers in the corner. Removed clay and finished up with additional fiberglass and JB Weld then sanded smooth. Had a piece of plexiglass that I cut to form the lip at the outside corner.
Used VHT Vinyl Dye from O'Reilly's thinking it would penetrate the plastic with black dye rather than sit on the surface like paint. Time will tell. Used a Krylon silver leaf pen from Hobby Lobby to highlight the raised lettering and emblems. Turned out pretty good.
