If your work is like some of ours, it can't be 55 in the winter and 90 in the summer and the parts still be in tolerance. Some folks just don't get that.
I just finished a job last week on the small CNC lathe that had a .0003 tolerance on each of the two bearing journals, .0005 on the width and .0006 on the major diameter with a minimum of 16 RA finish. Steel core with aluminum bronze overlay.

They needed two and I put all six within tolerance.

I'm taking the high road at work and doing as much as I can of the tight tolerance work as I will be leaving before they have my replacement.
