Doubt it runs better clean but I sure would bet it runs cooler!!

The old Kohler "boxer" opposed twins never have really gotten the respect that they deserve... most of the failures were due to lack of service and or abuse.. I have several that have been really good engines... even got a KT 17 series I that has been running since 1980!
