Okay guys, I made a mistake. Looking through pictures the air filter housing sticker says Magnum 18. Now this could just be a different ail filter cover and I'm not near the tractor right off the bat to look at the engine tag.
From what I'm gathering, if it's a magnum, I'm kind of stuck. However, if I find out that it is a ch18 I may be able to work it a bit to get it to cut like a beast?!
It does cut 3-4" tall yard grass like a beast! It's just when you hit the taller stuff it really boggs down pretty bad. I've evendors already thrown the deck belt twice as it was bogging down.
I'll check the engine data plate later to check and also measure the pullies best I can today to tomorrow.
Otherwise I may be looking for a new motor or deck swap.
