Next up was installing the air piping to and from the turbo. The original air inlet tube was cut in half to create an elbow, then the air tubing was routed around and into the turbo. The boost air from the turbo to the intake manifold passes over the valve cover. On the Kubota, the engine oil fill has an extension that must be removed to lower the fill cap so that the air tube can pass over it.
I stopped at this point and ordered a reducing elbow to go from the turbo to the air crossover pipe. One is 1 1/8" and the tube is 1 1/2". I think that will make for a cleaner installation.
