Rear mounted sprayer
Picked up an IH 782 last year. Pulled it in the shop tonight so we can take care of a few "issues". Dad wants to use it to pull a tow behind sprayer. I suggested that a rear mounted one would be much easier to navigate--this machine is going to be for spraying all around the farm. Our land is a bit hilly, would I need front weights for say a 15 gallon sprayer mounted reasonably up close? Anyone ever did this and have some pics you want to share? I don't have any sort of hitch so this would be bolted to the rear/frame. Not looking to pull it off for other work, so the frame can be bolted pretty solid. My biggest concern is keeping the front end on the ground--may need a weight bracket.
