I have a 105 that is having the same issues you are having; that being the gas tank gets hot, and if low the gas will start to boil. Scary !
: What I discovered was the clamp holding the muffler is NOT tight enough and the exhaust is partially escaping under the hood, hence a very hot gas tank.
Problem fixed by tighting the muffler bolts.
