Bagger works really well just so the grass is dry, if wet it just clogs up everywhere but that's to be expected. The other trick is not letting it get too high, it will handle getting it into the bags but they fill up so quickly it requires a lot of stopping to dump, but that beats the alternative of massive grass left laying on the lawn. I'm only mowing a half acre so bagging has been practical for me, I read post where people are mowing 2 or 4 acres, don't think it would be practical in those situations.
