Cub 149 no spark
Working on a new to me 149 that didn't run when I purchased it. Looks like it has sat outside a few years. First thing was to crank it and it turns over with compression. I had the jumper cables connected to the battery and it turned over fine. After a few cranks, now it won't turn over. Not even connecting to the big cable on the SG and grounded. The motor turns over by hand fine with compression. Also it doesn't get any spark at the plug. So I filed the points and still nothing, but I do get a spark at the points. That was all the time I had. Any suggestions? Unfortunately I won't get to it again for a little while.
