I fired up the more intact 2185 and it runs good. The muffler has a hole in it though. It has about 1000 hours on the clock, so I will pull the engine and covers, clean it up, and I will probably replace the seals and valve cover gaskets for good measure, and then sell it. The 46" deck that came with it has a big hole in the front, so it's worthless, except for spindles maybe. The other engine is missing a starter, and the tractor is missing a battery and ignition switch. So I haven't run it, but it has 55 hours on the clock. That can't hardly be right, but the engine does look really clean, the tractor not so much. So I don't know if that number is accurate. I can't hardly believe someone put 55 hours on it and left it sit to rot. I will go over that engine too and I might salt that one away for my own use another time.
