The nice thing about the 2012 is it will have the trans brake, the older ones didn't. Mines also a 2012 and I average 14mpg and I have had it up to 21mpg on the highway. I can pull an 18' trailer with 5 cubs on it and still get 15-16 on the highway. Congrats on the new ride.
