You can read all the physics articles or forums you want..... it's not worth the time to debate on this forum. I'm making my argument based on what I've seen. Hydro's are never painted from the factory on any piece of equipment I ever worked on. Combines, sprayers, oilfield drilling units.... all bare metal originally. Has to be a reason, and the only one I can equate is heat transfer. I do agree with him in that it's negligible anyway. It's likely not going to make enough of a difference to be a problem.

In my post I said that I "respectively disagree" with you and I would have done the same with anyone else. Nothing I said was directed personally at you. Why do you feel the need to retaliate.
As far as proof that certain paints do not hinder but in fact improve the rate of heat radiation from metal, simple high school physics experiments using a Leslie Cube and infrared camera takes care of that.
Nothing was meant to be silly, just pointing out the facts.
