Not to be rude to you Daniel, but I think your making a comment based on a love for a particular color, and not from any experience you have with all the machines in question. Kubota tractors are far superior to CC's. Even their GT's are better made. I love my CC's, but Kubota's are just made better in every aspect. Plus, in that size range Cub doesn't make a competitive machine at all. Their SCUT's are J-U-N-K!!

Don't even look at the 5K series machines. They aren't made well at all.
So what exactly do you do with your Cub that you are looking to upgrade? You have a loader, but yet you say you have a skid loader. Why would you need 2 loaders? The skid loader would be far superior anyway. Do you do a lot of gardening? Are you planning on needing and using a 3pt?? All I see you have listed for attachments for the Cub are a mower, blade and a blower. Well..... if those are the attachments that you plan to use on a SCUT, it still takes time to interchange them. None of SCUT's decks are all that easy to remove. Deere has an auto attach deck, but even those are not overly easy to remove and install. Dad has one and I personally don't think it's all that great. Sometimes it doesn't want to latch and unlatch. The Deere doesn't carry the deck, you set the height and leave it. You can raise and lock it up, but it's always in the way when really using a loader or rear attachments. People leave them on and use them that way.... but it's not really very handy. I don't want to till my garden with a big heavy 60" deck on the tractor, if no other reason than I don't want to extra weight carried over the garden. Point here is, I don't understand why people justify the cost of a machine that they don't really use to it's full potential. When dad bought his, I thought he made a mistake as his needs were actually larger than the tractor he got. He traded in a IH utility tractor towards his, and should have went at least 1 size larger. HP wise, the BX2200 is only a 22HP motor. Not really all that different from your 1782 in that department. You do have the option of rear equipment, which is fine.... IF you use it. If your one of those guys who has a "tractor" but never uses the 3pt or the rear PTO, then why do you need that stuff?? (Like the guys on here who want SGT's with rear PTO and 3pt but don't ever mount anything to them. Personal gripe of mine.)
