You need pistons to finish a bore, but not for a rough cut. You could have a rough cut done and the buyer have it finished. Or, buy and fit pistons and sell it with them. But I am not suggesting you rebuild and sell it. Just me, but I wouldn't buy a motor an individual rebuilt unless it came with a guarantee. When I rebuild motors with others, they're guaranteed.
