I think you are referring to Tag# 47, part number IH-347478-R91 "Seal, Hyd Pump Drive Shaft". Please let us know if what I'm thinking is right or wrong.
When I re-sealed my hydraulic unit, it appeared to have a bronze bushing in there. When I put a slide hammer in to pull it out, I found it was actually a rubber seal. The metal part of the seal and the pump shaft had rusted a little bit, and the rubber took on a bronze shade from the rust. That's what made it LOOK like a bushing. I cleaned up the housing and pressed the new seal in flush to the casting. I also cleaned up the pump shaft and lubed it before I put it all back together.
