I have one sitting outside. I agree with olds that it has a good engine and those are low hours. But they are made way lighter than the previous models, no where near as solid as the cyclops, like my 1864. I don't know how the rear end is in them reliability wise, but I do kind of like the foot controls. They have a Hydrogear setup that looks similar to the older models but the differential is smaller. The hood pieces are really fragile, thin metal. It would depend on the deck really. I would say the $700 seems a bit much for what it is but again depends on the deck. I see them all over Craigslist here for $500-$700... or better yet, free like mine.
