I hope this is the right spot to post this. But I have been ignoring this problem for quite awhile. And have grown tired of having to charge my battery every week. I have seen many posts across the Internet regarding CC's and the way they love to eat batteries. People often blame the battery. But I have had two new ones on my 1440. And it eats them alive!

The amp light comes on anytime I run the PTO. Eventually, the battery gets so low that once I shut off the PTO it will no longer come back on unless I charge the battery. I am not well familiar with how to test this mower to find out what is causing the drain. But I do know the mower runs fine if jumped. So its putting out enough power on its own to run it. What are the common causes for this problem?
