Yes, but you'd be surprised what some people will try. Believe it or not, I've seen guys try to pull one of those pins out with a chain attached to it and hooking to the tractor's 3pt. Also had a guy who worked for me attempt to lift something by using a hitch pin. Thought he could lift it by that handle.
Thankfully, he asked before he tried.
