If it is a "dry charge" ( no acid) it should be as good as new when you add acid.
In my younger years I used to get 1-1/2 volt, dry WWII radio batteries to use in starting glow plug model airplane engines.
They worked as if they were brand new.
You might get a pretty penny for that battery on ebay, to someone wanting a
NOS period correct battery
