Yup, pull it and remove the shrouds and look around. Save your knuckles. It's not terribly hard on the 2185 to get the engine off, but you might have trouble getting the exhaust apart to release the engine. I had two that I tore apart, both were rusted. The pipe was rusted and wouldn't come off the muffler inlet, and the bolts were rusted where the muffler is attached and the bolts broke off. New mufflers are pretty expensive for that. If that comes apart easily, the rest is a piece of cake.
