So its been a while. My length of 4140 came in today! I figure to make my own custom driveline for this 1450, with double flex joints at each end. Just $14.85 for a 3' length from McMaster-Carr { part# 8927K98 }.
With the sky-high prices for a shaft with two 1/4" holes in it off the internet, I'm ahead on making my own. I've seen prices from $65 for drilled to $30 for a blank shaft.
WOAH!
Got to get the 1450 frame clean before the weather turns cold, lol!
