Thanks for the tip john, im going to try it. Nice seeing the finished IH picnic table. We do skin on smiths hotdogs from Erie pa in the oven and when they split they're done. These would go perfect right along with them.
Have done the grill method of corn still in the stalks but soaked under water first with a brick on top for a while.
I like the microwave method mentioned too.
I think I could eat corn every day. My job as a young kid was to shuck it and of course it was outside and cold as can be on the back porch to avoid silk everywhere. My favorite was and will always be silver queen
