In that case I spent aLOT of time trying to describe to my brother all about how I think the piston position does not seem to jibe with what the points are doing with respect to where the flywheel marks are during the engine cycle. Gotta stop talking and posting so much about things I really don't understand all that well. At this point (no pun intended), while I'm still learning new things from all the replies, it's ultimately not productive if I'm not going to do much more work on the tractor myself anyway - at least not with regards to this issue. I'm just taking up alot of forum space and everyone's time. You guys are so helpful though! This is an amazing forum.
