gearhead351w,

If I'm reading this correctly, are you saying that even when you have the deck raised, the front hits the ground? If that is the case, check the hanger frame. It works with a scissors action. If the fork at the rear of the frame was not placed properly over the solid rod under the tractor, it would cause the front to hang down. Also, the frame itself could be bent, or really worn at the attachment points.
