Picked up a 129 this week, looked fair and the price was negotiable due to the possibility of a bad transmission,turns out the pin at the hydro input shaft was sheared ! A lucky person would have just needed to replace the pin , needless to say I'm not that lucky person, turns out the hydro pump was bound up ! The PO indicated it leaked a little hydro fluid and needed to add occasionally. Turns out it leaked a lot of fluid I would bet it was run with a low fluid level long and often causing the upper piston retainer ring to fail and scatter a couple piston caps jamming up the input shaft ! That leads me to ask where do I find a retainer ring and about 3 pistons with the brass caps ? Anyone
have a parts pump ?
