And if the tillers turn out to be junk, which I'm sure some of the dime a dozen units probably are, it will cost a bunch to go through one, especially if you have to start replacing bearings, tines and chains.
A good bargaining point would be to be ask that guy if he has the guard for the big pulley, the mule drive and all the belts.
A $100 tiller can quickly turn into a $400 + unit when you start replacing parts +belts.
