Thanks again to all you guys!

Yeah.... I don't take them out "shopping" much with me. Every time I take them to the parts store, they disappear and then either knock stuff off, or keep bringing me things either they want, or they think I need!
"No guys, I do not "need" a pink fuzzy dice!", LOL.
Seems I always have a project Mike. The truck I just bought earlier this year.... the one I am just in love with that had a fairly new GM transmission in it... yeah. The transmission went out. Does GM care?? Will they even help me find out how old it is?? Who they sold it to, or if it was dealer installed?? F*** NO! They only care if I have a receipt for the purchase of it. (I told them UP FRONT I didn't buy it.) I know better. I've installed GM transmissions before. I filled out the card and sent it back to them with the VIN, mileage and name of the person who owned the vehicle. They DO have a record of it, they just don't want to warranty it. So.... I've got that big 4L80E out and getting ready to tear it down. Oh well. Rebuilt lots of GM tranny's so, NBD. That's what you get for driving old stuff. Not junk, mind you now. Just old. I bought EXACTLY what I wanted!

Yes, the 982..... I've got it in my crosshairs. Trying to figure out what I want to do with it though. Pretty sure the Onan is shot. I have a few other options for repower that you guys would really like.... but may take the Onan out and have a look. Get my truck back together first.
