There are plenty of that vintage around, you just have to pay the price, never great deals like our northern friends find (see Lew, I was nice and didn't say Yankee

). Attachments on the other hand, well mower decks are standard--anything else and we do a double take!
In all seriousness, I can't see over $125 per machine, too much work moving them. Maybe a pulling club will buy all of them, keep the gear drives and sell the hydros and implements to support their habit. This is certainly the biggest stash I have ever heard of around here. About 10 years ago I talked to a fellow in that area that had 20 or 30 Cadets and wanting more if they were CHEAP. Don't think he did much with them, just bought them up. Have no idea if this is him or not.
