Hey Lance, here is a picture of a Danco on an Original. Notice how the loader frame is attached at the rear axle tubes and the front of the frame over the front axle. That would remove the load carried by the loader from the main frame. I think a loader on an O is cool but for a worker I would rather have a newer tractor that can have power steering and a beefed up front axle added. For most of what we use our loader for the O would do the job and I would not be afraid of it but The wife likes the Hydro and PS. They are like any thing else, use with common sense and do not overload and it will get the job done abuse it and it will break.

To the OP, Hope we have not offended you by getting into a loader on a Cub Cadet discussion, Good luck with finding one or if so inclined get a set of plans and build it. After you have one you will wonder how you ever got along with out it. Good luck
