If you get an 1864, you cannot put an IH tiller on it unless it has a rear cat 0 3pt, and you buy an adapter to install it. Then, you will only be able to use the #2B tiller.
If it doesn't have 3pt, you will have to buy one, and an adapter OR buy the later model CCC built model 400 tiller.
Both these options are expensive.
I have designed an adapter for the aluminum rear ends so that you can run an IH tiller on them without having to have the cat 0 3pt and the adapter. But you will still have to install a sleeve hitch, and I do not know how that would work on an 1864, as I have not seen it done that I can recall.
I suggest looking for an IH built tractor or at least one with a CI rear end if you want to run a tiller.
