Dad built that bumper years ago... He grew up farming and my grandfather always made sure that all the tractors had some sort of protection for the front sheet metal.. It doesn't really have a special purpose but I have bounced it off several pine trees over the years.. It has saved the front of the tractor several times. We also used to haul this tractor quite a bit and used the bumper to tie the front of the tractor down on the trailer.. it's quite stout!
