This "Black Ice" must be some politically correct invention.
Where I come from, Ice is as clear as the water it froze from,
and slicker than snot on yer middle finger.

But you are Lucky, it could of been worse.
A Lady I know fell, & broke her wrist,shoulder and hip.
Some plates/screws in her wrist and shoulder and a new arti-fishal hip were the outcome.
Getting old ain't the "golden" years.
