I was thinking that maybe there was moisture in the coil. The windings are wound with varnished /insulated wire but the Cooling oil may have had moisture The -15f temps we had for a few days made me suspicious.

The Harley coil; Was it the type that looks like the Kohler (looks like a Can with Plug wires at on end ) or is it the Small Boxy looking type?
