Worked on the mutt 122 and pulled the wiring harness out of it. There was some "custom" wiring which had contributed to a total meltdown of the main wiring harness. I have a used one and I've got it mostly hooked up so that I can crank the engine and see if it's any good before I sell it or swap a deck from one of my 123's to it.

Checked the V. regulator and all looks as new inside.

I'm hoping the previous owner melted down the harness early, and didn't wear the engine much as a result.

I'm probably a couple hours of weekend sunny day till trying that. Still need to terminate some wires and clean out the molasses that's in the gas tank, carb and sediment bowl.
