Also once you get it back up, and running with the correct fluid ( I will not get into any hydro fluid battle here) but working a piece of equipment hat has been standing, fresh fluid getting it up to operating temp will also clean out the unit/rear a lot more than you will expect so. I would do everything i could to remove as much as I could without tearing up anything, or contaminating anything... then fill it up with fresh fluid and work her out good for 3 months or so, then get it good and hot 9operating temp) and drain, and fill again... you may need to do this several times, but this is best way in my opinion at cleaning out a hydro reay/pump unless it's just locked down, or hard crusty stuff.
