There a FEW of us that just like big lawnmowers. I have 3 Supers, 2 with 60" decks. one with 54". I've never so much as hooked a lawn cart to one of them. Got 3pt on the 982 and turning brakes and front hydraulics on the 2072---all worthless for my purposes--I'm just weird like that anyway. Maybe its the cool factor, I would say the leg room but its almost too much! Think there is a lot of misconception that these things are fast or that the owners are always trying to mow really fast--my answer to that is not really.

To the OP, I think you or someone else mentioned a 982 last week. Some of the same comments about it may apply here. Just remember 982's carry an inflated price, and the later Supers have plastic hoods/grill/side panels that are often broken and expensive to replace, if available. If you enjoy reading, search for Sam Mac's cyclops owner tips, very informative--some applies to Supers, some to slightly smaller models.
